Dedicated Fleet Engineer
What you will be doing:
- Modeling & Pricing: Develop and finalize pricing models for all new Dedicated opportunities.
- Liaison Role: Serve as a primary point of contact between the Pricing/Operations teams and Sales.
- Presentation Support: Work with the Sales team to create and coordinate PowerPoint Presentations and other materials.
- Contract Management: Maintain and organize contracts, including filing and tracking renewals.
- Discovery Calls: Conduct initial discovery calls with the Commercial team to ensure quotes are accurate, validated, and tailored to customer needs.
- Business Start-Up Reviews: Participate in new business start-up reviews to validate pricing, modeling, making adjustments as necessary.
- Regular Reviews: Support ongoing monthly/quarterly reviews with the Commercial team and existing customers to ensure alignment and identify opportunities for improvement.
Effectively execute customer pricing requests through:
- Bid Process Management: Oversee the bid process to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Bid Status Tracking: Regularly update bid statuses in sales tools (e.g., Dynamics) to ensure accurate tracking.
Productive inquiry of operations and sales perspective to achieve the optimum customer solution
Diligently manage time to meet all customer deadlines
Competently communicate company capabilities and strategies to customers through bid response
- Ensure superior attention to detail to provide the most accurate rates and information in every customer response.
Advance company profitability performance through:
Aggressively pursuing opportunities with the highest economic impact
Understanding network needs and driving accountability to all business strategies
Pursuing any and all possibilities to increase profitability for all lines of business
Improving Loaded Rate Per Mile and Total Rate Per Mile through network improvements, rate analysis and customer development
- Analyze and pursue all opportunities to track and improve yield in all divisions
- Final Pricing Support: Assist in delivering final pricing by providing expertise and acting as the Dedicated Subject Matter Expert.
